New openings only: each table counts once, the first time our monitors saw it, and tables that were already bookable when we started watching a date, a party size, a time of day or the restaurant are left out. We count only the party sizes we check here, which follow what our members ask for (these were for parties of 2): openings for other party sizes go uncounted, and so may some at times far from the hours members follow. “Typically gone within”: at least half of these tables were gone by our next check within that time; a table still open or that came back counts as never gone.
