What Is SevenRooms?

SevenRooms is a restaurant reservation and guest management platform used by restaurants, hotel dining rooms and nightlife venues. DoorDash completed its acquisition on June 13, 2025.

What makes SevenRooms different from Resy or OpenTable is that it's a white-label platform. Instead of a central app where diners browse restaurants, SevenRooms embeds directly into each restaurant's own website. This means the booking experience looks like the restaurant's brand, not SevenRooms.

1. Visit the restaurant's website and click their "Reserve" or "Book a Table" button.
2. Select your date, time, and party size from the SevenRooms widget embedded on their site.
3. Enter your details — name, email, phone number, and any special requests.
4. Add a credit card if required (some restaurants use this for no-show protection or deposits).
5. Confirm your booking — you'll receive a confirmation email from the restaurant (not from SevenRooms directly).
